Kaibigan ng Lāhaina was founded by a group of Lāhaina-raised Filipinos, motivated to address the needs of Filipinos in Lāhaina after the August 8th, 2023 wildfires.

Our sense of familial, civic and community duty impassioned this group to formally organize under the banner of having a deep love for, and devotion to Lāhaina.

The journey to recovery has led to the mission of our organization to facilitate, resource and pave paths towards resiliency through an emphasis on culture, education, well-being, and hope for a resilient and progressive Lāhaina.
